South Bascom Pediatrics - Stanford Medicine Children's Health

South Bascom Pediatrics is now a member of a robust physician network that has satellite locations, outreach sites and primary and specialty care services throughout Northern California. Additionally, Stanford Medicine Children’s Health services are available at more than 100 locations in eight states and receive nearly 400,000 patient visits a year.

“We’re really delighted to partner with Stanford Medicine Children’s Health,” said Patricia Ferrari, MD, PhD, president of South Bascom Pediatrics, a group long known for providing high-quality care for infants, children, teenagers and young adults. “This new partnership not only means better access to the specialist network at Stanford Medicine Children's Health, but an expansion of primary care services.”

Expanding access and convenience

Expanding access and convenience for children and expectant mothers is central to the Stanford Children’s Health mission. That mission includes a commitment to provide Stanford Children’s Health well-care or specialty care services within 10 miles of every Bay Area family home.

“We enthusiastically welcome South Bascom Pediatrics to Stanford Medicine Children’s Health,” said Christopher G. Dawes, president and chief executive officer of Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford and Stanford Medicine Children’s Health. “They have an extraordinary reputation for excellent, personalized care to the children and families they serve, and are a wonderful addition to our network.”

“At Stanford Medicine, we’re delighted that the continued expansion of Stanford Medicine Children’s Health means that more children have access to compassionate, high-quality care close to their homes,” said Lloyd Minor, MD, dean of the School of Medicine. “We are happy to welcome South Bascom Pediatrics.”
