Children have their whole lives in front of them. Its our job to be sure they are able to live their lives as free from disease as possible.

I chose Pediatric Radiology because I love working with children and because problem-solving and diagnosis are the parts of medicine I most enjoy. Im also a Little League coach, and once discovered that an 11-year-old boy on my team had been a patient I helped treat for a malignant kidney tumor when he was 3 years old. It brings me so much joy to see children recover from disease and live full and fruitful lives.

One of the best things about being a Pediatric Radiologist is that I am not unique. My colleagues are people who have dedicated their lives to the imaging care of children. Our work brings us so much joy, especially when we see a sick child get better and lead a normal life.
