I'm a board certified child neurologist with additional board certification in epilepsy. The field of child neurology is so exciting because it's where you see the brain at its best. During early childhood and infancy the brain is developing pathways, creating new connections and growing through various stages of development.

I was born in Germany; my family is from Iran; I married an Indian woman and I speak four languages: German, Farsi, English and Spanish. My multi-cultural background helps me to be sensitive to patients and families from diverse backgrounds.

My approach is to always place patients and families at the center of my care. I feel like Im doing something good in the world by helping children and families get the help that they need. A lot of the children I see are at the beginning of their lives and have so much ahead of them. Making a difference at such an early stage and helping them get the right treatment is what makes me proud to do this work.
