Together, John Muir Health and Stanford Medicine Children's Health have formed a partnership to bring comprehensive children's specialty services closer to home for families in Contra Costa County and surrounding communities. This partnership was recently extended to 2032 to continue to meet the needs of patients in the East Bay. Through this partnership, families can see a Stanford Medicine Children's Health specialist locally with convenient specialty locations in Brentwood, Livermore, and Walnut Creek, orthopedics in Pleasant Hill and Pleasanton, and neurology in Pleasant Hill.

Our Partnership
In partnership with John Muir Health, Stanford Medicine Children's Health pediatric specialists contribute to the outstanding care of your child. We offer over 20 pediatric specialties and services from some of the country’s top pediatric specialists without having to travel far from home. One of our Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) specialists, Jocelyn Kohn, MD, discusses tonsillitis in children.

Through our collaboration with John Muir Health, your child can now receive expert care close to home at John Muir Health’s Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
Through our partnership with John Muir Health, patients can now see Stanford Medicine Children’s Health specialists locally in the East Bay or virtually. Telehealth visits allow doctors, such as urologist William Kennedy, MD, and patients to meet virtually over a secure connection using smartphones, home computers or nearby medical offices.
