The Adult Congenital Heart Program at Stanford has quickly grown to have some of the highest surgical volumes in the country, demonstrating our experience and the superior outcomes that have comes from it. The age range of patients who have had surgery ranges from 18 to 70, with the median age being 27.

The survival rates below reflect selected adult congenital heart surgeries performed from 2010-2013 at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford. The survival rates represent the percentage of patients who were alive 30 days after the surgery was performed, whether they were still in the hospital or not.
