  • “I spend time with my patients and provide them personalized care.”

Caring for children is so rewarding, and gives me a great sense of purpose. I spend a lot of time with my patients and provide them personalized care. Nothing I do is generic or rushed. I spend however long it takes to get to know parents and families and give them the very best care.

Parents are the key to children's health. I actively involve them in the decision-making process, and consider them part of the team. I want parents to know that I have an open door, and am always here to provide options and talk things through.

I'm heavily influenced by my mother, who was one of the first female physicians in India, and was highly regarded in the community. I take after her strongly and am involved in community activities. She showed me how to be of service, and what it means to be a doctor. Being a doctor is part of my identity — it's who I am.
