Alyssa Bianca Velasco, MD

I have always enjoyed being around children and taking care of them, so that motivated me to choose a career in pediatrics. I am passionate about helping kids build healthy habits because I know these habits will influence their health later in life. I truly believe in the importance of preventive carethere is so much you can change when you start young.

I love being able to share in the journey kids go through from dependent newborn to the awkward stages of adolescence. No matter what age they are, children and their parents need a support system, and I want to be there for them. It is a privilege to be a part of the big life stages that families go through with their kids.

If there is a problem, I want them to feel safe coming to me. Its my job to help address their concerns, whether its about their childs health or an everyday concern.
