Cristina Candido-Vitto, MD

  • Cristina Candido-Vitto
  • “My goal is to make sure a child is healthy and living a life that is as normal and happy as possible.”

In our field of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes, we see patients who are not growing well or are growing too fast. We identify and replace hormone deficiencies, which make a profound impact on a child's growth and development. It is rewarding to positively impact a child's life; to ease parents' concerns. In some families, being able to provide reassurance that a child is healthy can make all the difference.

We also see patients with diabetes. During the challenging time at diagnosis, the family could normally feel sad and overwhelmed. It is also rewarding to be part of their support system; to provide compassionate care and comprehensive education to empower patients and families to help them feel that things will get easier.
