  • “I feel that pediatrics chose me.”

I feel that pediatrics chose me. I love watching kids develop and that's what solidified in my mind that this was my calling. In addition to providing pediatric care, I am committed to childhood literacy. It's important to encourage children to read and be read to by their families beginning in infancy. Also I value providing families with the information they need for healthy living and, in the case of illness, towards healing. Medicine is constantly evolving and I strive to provide the tools and resources parents need.

I'm a positive person and I like to laugh with families when possible. The most rewarding aspect of my job is this relationship. I feel lucky to work with families from their child's birth through adolescence. It's a privilege to be with families on that journey.
