  • “My goal is to cure but my passion is to care.”

Coming to work every day feels like a treat. I enjoy the time I spend with patients and families and feel so satisfied when I'm able to help a child get better. My goal is to cure but my passion is to care. When a child is sick and the next day they are smiling and laughing nothing can compete with that.

Each child is unique. I collaborate with families as a team, and form trusting relationships where we make decisions about care together.

My own daughter was born premature and spent a month and a half in the NICU. Once you have a child, especially a premature baby, you understand the struggles that parents and children face. I am able to empathize with parents about the various challenges they face. I know what they go through. A book can't teach you that. I feel like it was destiny for me to help children and their parents. I really look forward to coming to work every day, and it's a privilege to be able to do this work.
