I've worked with kids my entire life. Before becoming a pediatrician, I studied child psychology, worked as an advocate for children with developmental delays and provided counseling to families. That work inspired me to pursue a career in pediatrics, where I could combine my love of working with children and their families with the opportunity to help them lead healthy and happy lives. Children are just amazing. They make every day exciting and fun, and they keep me smiling.
My approach to providing care is to look at the whole child and focus on prevention. I take an integrated approach to medicine, incorporating complementary forms of medicine, diet and nutrition, and mental health into my practice.
What I like about medicine is that I can build relationships that can last a lifetime, and I deeply value the trust that develops from those relationships. I take a collaborative approach to providing care, and I value a parents' perspectives when it comes to their children. I strive to work together as a partner on each family's team to help every child reach his or her highest potential. We are in this together.
