Caritas Coach Education

The Patient Care Service Education Fellowship Program provides full-tuition scholarship for the Caritas Coach Education Program (CCEP), which was developed by Dr. Jean Watson and the faculty of the Watson Caring Science Institute (WCSI). CCEP is an intensive six-month professional development program that incorporates interactive online instruction and virtual online small-group intensives. CCEP students must have high-speed internet access and computer skills and are required to attend two weekend-long intensive seminars, one at the start and one at the finish of the six-month program.

Students, with guidance from assigned CCEP faculty mentors from WCSI, will develop and implement a Caring Science project during the course and present a poster at graduation. Caring Science coaches from within Stanford Children's Health are available to mentor and support CCEP students both during and after their enrollment in the program.

Fuld Institute for EBP

The purpose of five-day Fuld immersion course is to build and sustain a core group of interprofessional clinicians to expand the implementation of evidence-based practice (EBP) at Stanford Children's Health. The overall aim of this program is to create an environment of clinical inquiry and curiosity. Participants that are non-exempt will have 40 hours covered for the training.
