Patients & Visitors

At our hospital and clinics in Santa Clara County, wearing a mask is required at all times. For in-patient, two healthy visitors, 12 years of age or older are permitted at the bedside.

These safety guidelines are in place from November 1, 2023 - March 31, 2024.

People are more likely to get respiratory illnesses in the winter than at any other time of the year. These respiratory illnesses include influenza, or the flu; COVID-19; respiratory syncytial virus, or RSV; and the common cold. It is very important to protect yourself from getting sick by doing the following:

Welcome to Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford. We opened our new Main hospital building in December 2017, making it one of the most technically advanced and sustainable designed children's hospitals in the nation.

We are located at 725 Welch Road in Palo Alto, California.

If you are admitting or visiting a child in the hospital, please check into the Main building lobby.

Children having a radiology procedure (x-rays, ultrasound, fluoroscopy) should check in at the Main building lobby and go directly to Radiology located on the first floor of the West building, Suite 184.

If you are an expecting mom checking into the Johnson Center for Pregnancy & Newborn or visiting a new mom and baby, please check into the West building.

If you are preparing for your child’s visit, please review our admitting procedures.

Visit finding your way for parking and garage information or review our hospital map for a comprehensive overview of our hospital and services.

Thank you for helping us protect your loved one by staying home when you are sick.
