ENDORE (Endometrial Receptivity)
This clinical research study will investigate the biomarkers of endometrial receptivity, infertility and infertility treatment outcomes. A biomarker is a way to measure the health of a given body system or organ. This study seeks to understand the potential connections between a person’s microbiome (trillions of tiny organisms in the body, such as bacteria, fungi and viruses), diet and infertility.
Who is eligible to participate?
- Ages 18–45
- Diagnosis of polycystic ovary syndrome, unexplained infertility, endometriosis or recurrent pregnancy loss
- Planning in-vitro fertilization cycle
Study participation involves:
- Swabs for microbiome from urine, mouth, vagina, cervix, uterus, rectum collected in luteal phase of menstrual cycle (after ovulation and before your period starts)
- Diet questionnaire
- All study participation can be completed in a single visit.
