Michelle Kaplinski, MD, is a pediatric cardiologist who earned her MD from George Washington University Medical School. She completed her residency in pediatrics at UCSF and cardiology fellowship training at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and is board certified in both pediatrics and pediatric cardiology. Dr. Kaplinski is dedicated to improving the quality of life and cardiovascular health of her young patients with lipid disorders and their families.

Shoa Clarke, MD, PhD

Shoa Clarke, MD, PhD, is a preventive cardiologist who obtained his MD and PhD (genetics) from the Stanford University School of Medicine. He completed clinical training in internal medicine (Brigham & Women’s Hospital), pediatrics (Boston Children’s Hospital), and cardiovascular medicine (Stanford Hospital). He is board certified in all three specialties, which distinctively empowers him to provide family-centric care to both children and adults with lipid disorders.

James Priest, MD

James Priest, MD, is a pediatric cardiologist with a focus on cardiogenomics. He obtained his MD from the Stanford University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in pediatrics at the University of Washington and his fellowship training in pediatric cardiology at Stanford. Dr. Priest merges his knowledge of cardiology and genetics to provide important insight on inherited lipid conditions.

Hannah Ison, MS, LCGC

Hannah Ison, MS, LCGC, is a cardiovascular genetic counselor who specializes in caring for patients and families with inherited lipid conditions. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz, in 2014 and her master’s degree in genetic counseling from Indiana University in 2018. She works as both a pediatric and adult genetic counselor and has been caring for patients with inherited cholesterol conditions for over five years.
