Research & Innovation

Scientific research helps us ensure that we give each patient the best possible care. The articles below illustrate research conducted in the Motion Analysis and Sports Performance Laboratory. Our research studies neuromuscular and musculoskeletal mechanisms underlying movement and gait deficits in children with cerebral palsy to better guide treatment decisions. We also examine neonatal brain microstructure in preterm infants in relation to later neurodevelopment and gait to better identify high-risk infants and guide early treatment.
