My philosophy on medicine is to treat patients as if they were my own children. Children are a special population because they can’t advocate for themselves. It’s nice to be able to care for patients in collaboration with their families.
The most rewarding thing is when parents come in thinking there is something wrong with their child and we’re able to get to the bottom of it. If we do find a hormone disorder, it’s something we can help with. Most missing hormones can be replaced. It’s so great to figure out what’s going on and be able to help.
I want parents to know they can come to me with any concern and that I’ll listen. If there’s anything I can do, I will do it, and if I can’t I’ll direct you to a different provider. You will always be heard and I will do everything I can to help your child.
