My father is a physician, and I wanted to follow in his footsteps. I love my job because I get to help bring new life into this world. It's very exciting and rewarding.

I've been doing this work for many decades, and I'm experienced and open-minded. I'm flexible with patients because often there is no one right way to do things. To me, OB/GYN is very simple. I won't let my patients do something that is dangerous to the baby or themselves, but other than that, there are many different approaches we can take.

I deliver about 98% of my patients' babies. You don't hear that very often. I have a total commitment to my patients, and I always try to be there for them. Some of my patients want a natural birth, and some want maximum pain relief. Most fall somewhere in the middle. I work together with my patients to find a plan that works for them because this is a two-way street. My patients always have the option to change their mind. As long as we have a healthy baby and a healthy mom, that's all that really matters.
