  • “I want every child to live a life that is as normal as possible.”

I am a pediatric cardiologist, meaning I am a pediatrician that looks after children’s hearts. The beauty of my work is that I form a professional but close bond with families. Many of the children I see will need long-term treatment, so it’s important that I develop trust between myself and the parents, for the longevity and survival of their child.

I try to be very calm and nonstressful when interacting with families. Although I am their doctor and I need to make some decisions for patients, I like to make it an environment where families are comfortable and can ask questions. I like to work hand in hand with families as we make decisions about treatment.

Every parent wants their child to have a normal life. Normal is different for each child. I will do my very best to help provide your child a happy and healthy life, because I want every child to live a life that is as normal as possible.
