  • “I love getting to really know my patients and their families and partnering with them.”

What I love about pediatrics is the privilege of seeing a patient over many years. It’s an amazing experience to watch children grow up and be woven into the fabric of a family’s life. Each age and stage of development has its delights. It’s an honor to have the ability to impact each child’s health and development along the way.

Each family is unique, and there is more than one right way to approach most situations. I love getting to really know my patients and their families and partnering with them to make the best health care choices for their children.

I have three kids of my own, and they taught me a lot about pediatrics. My kids have had everything from colds to stitches to asthma to surgeries to ambulance rides, which gives me a great deal of empathy for what families go through.
