“I try to be a coach for parents as they access their own inner wisdom.”
My approach to caring for patients and families is one of partnership. I try to be a coach for parents as they access their own inner wisdom, helping them to feel confident in themselves as parents. Above all, what children need is the focused attention of loving adults.
As a physician, I am in favor of less intervention because children are resilient and most of them are healthy. I take a holistic approach to care; with time and patience many problems improve without any medical intervention.
I am a parent myself; having children has made me more aware of both the privilege and challenge of raising children. It has made me certain that there’s not one right way to do things. Every child is unique; it’s important to figure out what each individual child needs.
