Brain and Behavior Center's Research and Innovation

The outstanding outcomes we achieve for newborns and children with disorders of brain development, structure or function are the result of our ongoing dedication to scientific research that brings breakthrough medicine directly to your child's care.

Our Stanford Medicine physician-scientists enjoy a unique collaborative environment at the Stanford University School of Medicine, sharing ideas across a variety of disciplines to rapidly advance treatments and allowing us to successfully treat many children with complex cases that could not be resolved elsewhere.

ROSA™ technology reduces anesthesia time and provides increased precision and safety

The latest innovation in our advanced neurosurgical care is the ROSA™ robotic surgical assistant. Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford is the only hospital in Northern California to offer this technology for pediatric neurosurgery.
