Tremors

A tremor is an involuntary rhythmic shaking stemming from the contraction and relaxation of muscles. Tremor may result from a wide variety of causes ranging from caffeine intake to underlying brain injury or genetic causes. Because of all these complex factors, our clinic focuses on determining the severity of, diagnosing and treating the source of the tremors using our knowledge of neurology and the technologies and expertise of the experts throughout Stanford Medicine Children’s Health.
