Pulmonary Artery Reconstruction (PAR) Program

The Pulmonary Artery Reconstruction (PAR) Program is dedicated to the highest level of comprehensive care for children and adults with congenital and acquired abnormalities of the pulmonary arteries. We have pioneered the surgical treatment of a range of conditions, including but not limited to:

• Tetralogy of Fallot (ToF) with pulmonary atresia and major aortopulmonary collateral arteries (MAPCAs)
• MAPCAs associated with other cardiac anatomy, including transposition of the great arteries, pulmonary atresia with intact ventricular septum and various single ventricle anomalies
• Pulmonary artery stenosis associated with Williams syndrome and non-Williams elastin arteriopathy
• Pulmonary artery abnormalities in individuals with Alagille syndrome
• Isolated aortic origin of a branch pulmonary artery
• Pulmonary artery stenosis after surgery for congenital heart disease
• Other types of pulmonary artery stenosis or narrowing (hypoplasia)
