Heart Disease Prevention Program

Your child’s evaluation

Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford offers personal programs to evaluate and prevent known or suspected heart disease or other cardiovascular conditions in children. Our doctors can evaluate your child using specific exercise tests which are done in our modern cardiopulmonary exercise laboratory. An exercise physiologist can prescribe to your child safe levels of exercise to enhance their health outcomes and quality of life and to manage or prevent their disease from worsening.
