Stanford Medicine Children's Health/Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford
Stanford Medicine Children's Health offers a variety of education classes and services including free car seat fittings, CPR training and classes on puberty for tweens and their parents.

Parent's groups

Parents of young children often learn the most practical information on child rearing and parenting from peers in parenting groups. Many find it is also an avenue to forge friendships that stand the test of time. Nurses or other health care professionals facilitate some of these groups, while others are more free form. Here are just few that our patients have found helpful:

Las Madres neighborhood playgroups
A California Non-profit Public Benefit Corporation that provides a network of neighborhood playgroups for those with children born in the same year.

Parenting, childbirth and breastfeeding classes
Offered through Good Samaritan Hospital, though delivery there is not required for participation.

Developmental disabilities

San Andreas Regional Center
San Andreas Regional Center is a community-based, private nonprofit corporation that is funded by the state of California to serve people with developmental disabilities

Children's Health Council
Children's Health Council provides education, diagnosis and therapy for children and adolescents with a variety of issues.
