  • “I work on an evidence-based care plan that also respects families wants and needs.”

I love pediatrics because I can follow patients from infancy to early adulthood and help them along that journey. Sometimes my patients experience a GI-related issue during that journey, and that's where my passion and practice intersect. I am honored to help my patients find a positive outcome and an improved quality of life. My specific interest is inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), a complex, dynamic and potentially life-changing disease. I aim to help IBD patients live a normal life with thoughtful and personalized management.

I value working with patients and their families to determine a knowledgeable and respectful care plan that fits with their lifestyle and culture. A disease affects not just the patient, but also the entire family. I value open communication with my patients' families because the family members are the ones who are on the ground dealing with the condition on a daily basis. I want to help my patients take ownership of their health as they move from adolescence into adulthood so they can be healthy, responsible adults.
