It is my pleasure to work with children and see them grow and develop over time. My specialty focuses on understanding muscles, bones, and nerves and their impact on function and quality of life. I try to listen first to understand each patient’s goals; then I collaborate with parents to make a plan for functional rehabilitation. I work to anticipate families’ needs in the long term, especially on how we can preserve a child’s function over time—whether it’s related to their skeletal growth, nutrition, cardiovascular health, or educational/career aspirations. Because we value a strong team-based approach, I also help coordinate my patients’ care with their other doctors and therapists. Together we will figure out the best individualized treatment plan for each child.
