• Adult congenital heart disease: Our Adult Congenital Heart Program is a joint program between Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford and Stanford Health Care. Having experts in congenital heart disease at both locations empowers us to provide the right care at the right time and in the right place for people of all ages – fetuses, newborns, children, teens and adults.
• Alagille syndrome: Our comprehensive, multidisciplinary program provides specialized care for children with complex heart, liver, and whole body needs.
• Pediatric bloodless cardiac surgery: Our bloodless cardiac surgery team prefects technologies and techniques that help our youngest heart surgery patients thrive.
• Cardiac and respiratory care for infants with BPD (CRIB): Our multidisciplinary team provides care for patients at risk for or diagnosed with bronchopulmonary dysplasia and pulmonary hypertension.
• Cardiac anesthesia: Our cardiac anesthesiology team administers anesthesia for patients undergoing the full range of cardiac procedures, from imaging studies that help doctors diagnose heart disease to open-heart surgery.
• Cardiac catheterization / interventional cardiology: Our team of experienced cardiologists are leaders in performing minimally invasive procedures for diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions, including cardiology, angiography and cardiac catheterization.
• Cardiac imaging: Our cardiac imaging team utilizes the latest noninvasive imaging technology and techniques so that your child’s doctor can see what makes your child’s heart unique.
• Cardiac neurodevelopmental services: Our program brings together developmental-behavioral pediatricians and pediatric cardiologists to identify and address concerns early on to optimize the development of children with congenital heart disease.
• Cardiogenomics: Our team offers comprehensive evaluations with pediatric cardiologists and genetic counselors who specialize in identifying, treating and supporting families with inherited heart disease.
• Cardiology: The pediatric cardiology team at Stanford Children’s Health provides diagnosis and comprehensive management of congenital and acquired heart disease in infants, children and adolescents.
• Cardiomyopathy: Full spectrum of care for all types of cardiomyopathy from a multidisciplinary team of experts.
• Cardiopulmonary exercise laboratory: Our Cardiopulmonary Exercise Laboratory uses the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic technologies to evaluate, treat and prevent heart and lung diseases in children.
• Cardiothoracic surgery: We have cardiothoracic surgeons who specialize in cutting-edge surgical treatments for children of any age with complex heart conditions.
• Cardiovascular connective tissue disorders: Our multidisciplinary program diagnoses, educates and treats patients with connective tissue disorders such as Marfan, Williams and Loeys-Dietz syndromes.
• Cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU): Our team cares for a range of pediatric heart patients, including children who are recovering from heart surgery or transplantation.
• Center for advanced lung (CEAL) therapies. An innovative new center that brings together experts in cardiology, heart surgery, heart transplant, pulmonology, and lung transplant to give your child with advanced lung disease his or her best chance at survival and a greater quality of life. Because the heart and lungs work together to deliver oxygen-rich blood to the body, caring for these patients’ hearts as well is an important part of our care plan.
• Complex biventricular reconstruction: We are dedicated to providing the highest level of specialty care and surgical repair for individuals of all ages with complex structural heart defects. We consider biventricular reconstruction for even the most challenging anatomies, including for patients that other heart centers would automatically assign a single ventricle repair.
• Coronary anomalies: Our multidisciplinary program provides a comprehensive approach to caring for patients of all ages with anomalous aortic origin of a coronary artery (AAOCA), myocardial bridges, Kawasaki disease and other coronary anomalies.
• Electrophysiology and arrhythmia: We partner with families to establish, monitor and maintain your child’s best heart health using the latest techniques, including at-home cardiac diagnostic devices, to correct all forms of cardiac rhythm problems.

• Heart transplant / Pediatric advanced cardiac therapies (PACT): As a national leader in pediatric heart transplantation, we provide significant expertise for the best outcomes and offer nurturing care to meet your child’s needs. We offer leading support technology for children in need of heart transplant or transplant alternatives - including the full range of circulator assists.
• Kawasaki disease: The Kawasaki Disease Clinic at the Stanford Children’s Health Betty Irene Moore Children’s Heart Center provides short- and long-term follow-up care for patients diagnosed with Kawasaki disease and dilated coronary arteries.
• Lipid Clinic: Our comprehensive care team can help prevent complications associated with lipid abnormalities later in life, including early heart attack and stroke by providing expert treatment early on and consistently through the years.
• Preterm patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) closure: Our interdisciplinary team of cardiologists and neonatologists partner to provide minimally invasive PDA device closures to ensure the best possible outcomes for low-birth-weight infants whose ductus arteriosus has not yet closed after birth and may be causing problems.
