Pediatric Kidney Transplant Conditions We Treat

Many of the infants, children and adolescents who need a kidney transplant have been living on dialysis—an artificial process that replaces the non-functioning kidneys. For these young people, kidney transplantation offers a longer-term solution and the prospect of better health and greater independence.

The children that aren’t living on dialysis, but suffer from a complex kidney disease, may or may not need a kidney transplant.
