Microtia reconstruction surgery

The microtia reconstruction surgery was performed in two stages for each side by Mai Thy Truong, MD and Kay Chang, MD. He had a right Ponto implant placed in conjunction with the 2nd stage of the right microtia reconstruction and is hearing very well with the sound processor in place. His family plans to have the Ponto converted to OSIA as soon as he turns 12 years old.
