Dr. Maher is the Botha Chan Endowed Professor at the Stanford School of Medicine and he is the chief of Pediatric Neurosurgery. He is board certified in Pediatric Neurosurgery. 

Dr. Buch is a neurosurgeon with fellowship training in epilepsy, functional, and minimally invasive neurosurgery.

Areas of expertise:Brain and spinal cord tumors, craniosynostosis (including minimally invasive techniques), treatment of congenital spinal conditions, spina bifida, Chiari malformation, spasticity, moyamoya disease, endoscopic treatment of hydrocephalus, enzyme replacement therapy for congenital disorders

Dr. Mahaney is a pediatric neurosurgeon. She is interested in advancing neuro-endoscopic techniques in Pediatric Neurosurgical practice.

Areas of expertise:Endoscopic treatment of hydrocephalus, myelomeningocele and spinal dysraphism, congenital spinal conditions and craniovertebral junction abnormalities, spasticity, minimally-invasive craniosynostosis surgery, brain and spine tumors and epilepsy surgery

Dr Phillips is a pediatric neurosurgeon. He is an assistant professor of Neurosurgery at the Stanford University Medical Center.

Dr. Prolo is a pediatric neurosurgeon. She is interested in developing novel approaches to treat children with craniosynostosis, brain tumors, and congenital disorders.

Melissa is a pediatric nurse practitioner (PNP) specializing in the care of hospitalized children, with an emphasis in the acute care setting. She is also a member of NAPNAP.

Katy is a pediatric nurse practitioner (PNP). She is a member of NAPNAP and Sigma Theta Tau.

Camille is currently seeing patients both in neurology and neurosurgery. Her areas of interest in neurosurgery are tethered cord, intraventricular hemorrhage of prematurity, craniosynostosis and plagiocephaly.

May is a certified pediatric neurosurgery nurse practitioner with extensive experience working with pediatric intensive care patients.

Stephanie is a pediatric nurse practitioner (PNP) specializing in the care of children with special health care needs with an emphasis in adolescent health care. Her previous experience includes working as a neurosurgery PNP at Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera, California.

Diana is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner (PNP) with extensive experience working with pediatric intensive care patients. She is also a certified critical care nurse and a member of NAPNAP.

Camly is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner (PNP). She is part of our neurosurgery outreach team and sees patients at John Muir Health.

Anna is a family nurse practitioner (FNP) specializing in the care of children with special health care needs with an emphasis in concussion and traumatic brain injury. Her previous experience includes working with the pediatric concussion clinic at Stanford Medicine Children's Health and the headache clinic at Stanford Medicine.
