Stanford Medicine Children's Health is the largest health care system in the San Francisco Bay Area—and one of the few in the country—exclusively dedicated to pediatric and obstetric care. Our physicians and health care teams offer comprehensive clinical services, from treatments for rare and complex conditions to well-child care. With Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford at the center of a network with more than 65 locations across the Bay Area and 85 locations in the U.S. Western region, our patients can access world-class care close to home.

We’re proud to be recognized as one of the top children’s hospitals in the nation in the 2025–2026 U.S. News & World Report Best Children’s Hospitals survey. For the 10th consecutive year, we ranked in all specialties, with five specialties ranked in the top 10 and two specialties ranked in the top five nationwide. We are tied for the highest-ranked hospital in Northern California and also tied as the No. 3 children’s hospital in California. This honor underscores the unwavering commitment of our faculty, physicians, and staff to exceptional pediatric and obstetric care. Our team excels at providing customized treatments, noninvasive procedures, innovative pain management, and family-centered care tailored for children.

Sustainability Program Office
The Sustainability Program Office, a partnership between Stanford Health Care and Stanford Medicine Children’s Health, advocates and supports activities that reduce the environmental footprint of Stanford Medicine’s operations while seeking solutions that also reduce costs and improve the well-being of staff, visitors, patients, and the community.
