Our comprehensive pedestrian safety program

This kid-friendly mobile town consists of a hospital, school, library, traffic lights, crosswalks, stop signs and more. The Stanford Medicine Children’s Health Safetyville program consists of five educational lessons, which is delivered by our Safetyville Program Coordinators and can be integrated into the regular school day curriculum or an afterschool program.

Empowering kids with lifesaving pedestrian skills in a realistic environment

The interactive program was created using tools and models developed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the National Center for Safe Routes to School. Safetyville provides a unique opportunity for kids to learn pedestrian safety skills in a safe and realistic environment.
