  • “I treat patients like I would want my own family members to be treated.”

I always knew I wanted to take care of children, so I went to medical school to be a pediatrician. I treat patients like I would want my own family members to be treated, I care very much about how I make my patients and their families feel.

My goal is to work with parents as partners to ensure a healthy life for their children and to help guide them toward healthy choices. I truly love seeing children grow. You hopefully get to start when they are newborn, that's when parents really want a pediatrician's guidance, and you make a connection with the family. Then, when they're toddlers and preschoolers and beyond, you play a role in their lives as you know they are counting on you. Pediatrics gives me a lot of joy, knowing that a patient and their parents will probably sleep better tonight because I was there to help. As your child's pediatrician, I want you to know how much I appreciate your hard work toward making healthy choices for your child, who will be a healthy, happy adult someday.
