Stanford Medicine Children’s Health Administrative Internship 2024

The administrative internship program at Stanford Medicine Children’s Health provides graduate students a paid opportunity to learn about the healthcare space from a leading pediatric academic medical center. Interns will have the opportunity to work on projects in areas of their interest and receive mentorship from leaders throughout the summer. Interns will report to the Vice President of Operations. They will also have the opportunity to showcase their projects at the end of the summer to our senior leadership team.

Stanford Medicine Children’s Health will accept 2 interns for the summer of 2024.

2024 Summer Enrichment Program Schedule

February 2, 2024- Applications and supporting documents due.

February 26, 2024 - Interviews will be conducted with IFDHE Internal Review Committee and student applicants

March 11, 2024-Student Candidate referrals to host sites begin

March 15, 2024- SMCH Interviews are held

March 18, 2024- Offer extended

June 3, 2024 - SEP begins

August 12, 2024 - SEP concludes

Internship Details

• 10 weeks full-time (40 hours/ week)
• Held in-person
• Paid position
• Housing provided

Requirements

• GPA of 3.0 or above
• Be a currently enrolled or recently graduated U.S. graduate student in an MHA/ MPH/ MBA or a comparable degree.
• Must have completed at least 1 semester of a health-related graduate program
• Be able to move to Stanford from June – August 2024
