The new 52,000-square-foot Ronald McDonald House at Stanford

To keep pace with the expansion of Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford, Ronald McDonald House at Stanford more than doubled its capacity to house families, from 47 to 123 bedrooms. The new House is one of the largest of the nearly 400 Ronald McDonald Houses in the world and provides a home-away-from-home for an additional 76 families each night. Designed by a volunteer army of interior designers, the House is not only beautiful but highly functional with family suites, kitchens and dining areas, age-specific activity rooms, fitness center, private consultation rooms, laundry facilities, underground parking, storage and more.
