When choosing our heart center team for your child’s heart care, know that:

• We’re one of the largest, most comprehensive pediatric heart teams in the nation. We have more than 500 dedicated pediatric heart doctors, heart surgeons, cardiac specialist nurses, radiologists specialized in heart imaging, genetic counselors specializing in hereditary heart conditions, cardiovascular intensivists, cardiac anesthesiologists, and nutritionists.
• We have experts in every pediatric cardiovascular condition, no matter how rare or complex. We attract doctors who are pioneers in their fields, and we are known for caring for children with highly complex conditions, including premature and low-birth-weight babies with heart disease. Our doctors span 30 specialty and subspecialty heart services to ensure that your child will receive care from a top expert in their heart condition.
• We see a large number of heart patients every year, and we perform more than 700 heart surgeries at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford, significantly more than many peer hospitals in the country. Over the past five years, we have cared for children from 48 U.S. states and 19 foreign countries.
