We are proud of our exceptional outcomes in helping manage coronary artery anomalies, in identifying risk for sudden cardiac arrest, and of our uncommon and superior surgical method to correct serious anomalous aortic origins of coronary artery (AAOCA), called reimplantation. Reimplantation can correct anatomy near to normal, helping people live higher-quality lives with less risk of complications and needing a reoperation.

Our research on coronary reimplantation versus an unroofing procedure shows that our preferred reimplantation surgery method has high survival rates and a low incidence of reoperation. With coronary reimplantation, our incidence of reoperation was 0% versus 5.8% for unroofing. With reimplantation, our short-term and midterm mortality rate was 0% per our retrospective review.
