Dr. Knowles is the co-director of the Synaptopathy Clinic, PI of the STARR and PRoMiSS natural history studies, and she leads the Knowles Lab, which specializes in research related to biological mechanisms underlying pediatric forms of epilepsy, including synaptopathies. She is board certified in Neurology with Special Qualifications in Child Neurology and Epilepsy.
