Family Resource Center

The Family Resource Center provides support and access to resources for families. It is a special place where families can find relaxation, conduct personal business in the business center and perhaps even forget for a little while that they are in a hospital.

While your child is a patient at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford, you can access the following services at the Family Resource Center:

• Catch up on work in a semi private office.
• Access the internet and computers.
• Print, Fax, or Scan Materials.
• Check out books from the Library for patients and siblings.
• Relax, Read, and/or enjoy a hot complimentary beverage.
• Obtain personal hygiene items such as toothbrushes and shampoo.

A Family Resource Center Coordinator is available to provide guidance and amenities. The Family Resource Center is located in the Main building lobby near Sophie’s Corner.

Personal business and other services

ATM/bank machine

You can find ATM/bank machines in two locations:

1. In the Main building, on the first floor behind the Harvest Café in zone 150/105 near the vending machines.
2. In Stanford Health Care, on the first floor near the Emergency Department.

Using secure email

Some Stanford Medicine Children's Health care providers and clinics may communicate with you via email. Emails sent from a Stanford Medicine Children’s Health care provider that contain Protected Health Information (PHI) like patient name, date of birth, status or update on the patient’s health, etc., are sent through secure email.
