Pediatric Psychiatry Consultation-Liaison Service

The Pediatric Psychiatry Consultation-Liaison Service provides inpatient and outpatient psychiatric consultation, evaluation, and treatment related to the psychological adjustment of children and families with acute and chronic medical and mental illnesses such as:

  • Complex mixed medical-psychiatric diagnoses
  • Noncompliance with medical treatment
  • Chronic pain
  • Procedural anxiety
  • Feeding disorders
  • Failure to thrive
  • Organ transplantation
