Recovering at the hospital and at home
Immediately after the procedure or surgery, your child will receive care in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU). Your child’s doctor will come find you in the waiting room to describe how the surgery went. Once your child is recovered, you and your child will check out with home recovery instructions in hand.
If you ever have a question or concern, we encourage you to call the OSC. With our family-centered approach to care, you are a part of the team, along with our top doctors, exceptional nurses, and staff.
